MF Mitra — Terms of Service

1. What this app is
MF Mitra is an analytics tool for your own mutual-fund portfolio. It reads statements you give it and computes figures from them — returns, capital gains, lock-in, composition, and alerts based on published NAVs.
2. What it is not
MF Mitra does not provide investment advice, recommendations, or portfolio management, and it is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Every figure is computed from statements and public data you can check yourself, and the app names the source and date of what it shows.
Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme-related documents carefully. Past performance does not indicate future results.
3. Accuracy
Figures are only as good as the statement you import and the published data available at the time. Where the app cannot compute something reliably it says so rather than showing a number — a dash with a reason, not a zero. Some things are not modelled at all, and the app names them where they matter: exit load is one. Please check anything that will inform a real decision against your own statement.
4. Your account
You need an account to use the app. You must be 18 or over. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done through your account. We may suspend an account being used to abuse the service or another person.
5. Beta
MF Mitra is in public beta. Everything in it is free during the beta; there is nothing to pay for and no plan to choose. Features may change, and there may be defects — telling us about them is the point of a beta. Pricing will be announced before the beta ends, and we will not begin charging without telling you first.
6. Your data
Your portfolio stays on your device. What we hold, and how to remove it, is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Third-party services
The app connects to services you choose — Google Drive, Gmail, your broker — under permissions you grant and can withdraw. Their own terms apply to your use of them. It also uses public market data sources; their availability is not something we control.
8. Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment decisions taken using it, or for losses arising from figures that turn out to be wrong, unavailable or out of date. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. You can also simply uninstall, which removes everything held on the device.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Jaipur have exclusive jurisdiction.
