Deleting your MF Mitra account
Last updated: 8 September 2026 · App: MF Mitra
In the app
Open MF Mitra and go to More → Privacy & data → Delete your account. You will be asked to confirm. It takes a few seconds and cannot be undone.
By email, without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, write to ejimitrajpr@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, asking for your account to be deleted. We will confirm when it is done, and we aim to do it within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile — email address, name, date of birth, role.
- Your plan and subscription record.
- Your consent records.
- Your profile picture, including the stored image itself.
- Any portfolio snapshot you had shared with an advisor.
- Any link to an advisor, and any invitation addressed to your email address.
- Your sign-in itself. The account no longer exists.
- Everything MF Mitra stored on your phone — portfolio, transactions, folios, settings, saved statements. The app closes once this is done.
What else happens
If you had linked Google for Sheet sync or Gmail pickup, deleting your account also revokes this app's access to your Google account. You do not have to go and remove it yourself.
What is kept, and for how long
One record survives deletion, deliberately: a processing log holding which external provider was called, when, and whether the call succeeded. It contains no request or response content, no portfolio data and nothing that identifies you to a reader. It exists so we can demonstrate that requests — including deletion requests — were actually carried out. It is retained for up to 12 months.
Deleting your data without deleting your account
If you only want your portfolio gone, More → Privacy & data → Reset portfolio data clears it from the phone and leaves your account intact. Uninstalling the app also removes everything held on the device.
What is cleared: your holdings, transactions, folios and any imported statement, removed from the phone.
What is kept: your account itself — email address, name, date of birth, plan and consent records — which stay until you delete the account.
